THE STORY BEHIND “MY EYES ONLY”
My Eyes Only is about seeing behind the curtain of our masks. Feeling sadness while someone is acting happy. Experiencing collective change or predicting something is going to happen and no one believes you. It sometimes feels like you are alone in this. I know I did and the thought made me feel lonely. Later when I got more than enough proof for myself I learned it doesn’t matter what they think of me. It is what I see. It’s my eyes only and I need to be there for me.
In this song a sensitive women describes her journey. As she is in a relationship, she has seen their goodbye already before it happened.
As I evolved, so did the song, which comes in three versions. Acoustic with handpan and vocals, Ambient and Dance.
The last version is a happy ,empowered celebration. So what you don’t get me, it is my version of life.
