The impact Sydney Banks had on George was profound, transforming his consulting business and taking it to a whole new level. George introduced this new way of understanding life to his clients, with the results being broad, deep and everlasting. The ‘ripple effect’ of Syd’s impact on George led him to using words to describe how we as human beings function, experiencing life from within. Two notable metaphors and his amplification of what these metaphors mean…
- Backburner… a formless vessel with unlimited capacity in which our thoughts can ‘simmer’; a reflective space.
- Defining Moment… a moment in our human experience that transforms our understanding of life, thus experiences; the ‘inner awakening’ of one’s True Self.
George’s amplification of ‘backburner’ gave me a fuller appreciation for how I live and breathe… as a spiritual being and a creative person; it was a means to describe to my clients how my creative thoughts and processes apply to what I do for a living.
I recall my ‘defining moment’ when I came to understand life better, deeper, that “I’m okay” was more than just two words locked inside my head. From that point forward, I lived life differently.
